Meet the Crew

Chet Tokar – Managing Partner / Instructor

Chet and his wife Cheryl have been in Florida since 1987. This is where they raised their 3 children and love being a part of the way of life Florida offers. He is also a proud granddad to 4 incredible young people. Chet has been around the diving community for some time and signed on as Managing Partner at Orlando Scuba in 2021 after a long time working independently. He became an instructor in 2010 with the Professional Association of Dive Instructors (PADI) and is a Master Scuba Dive Instructor there. He added the ability to teach through Scuba Diving International (SDI) in 2021 and is currently working on becoming a Course Director.

Over the years, Chet has been very active in the community including serving on a number of boards of directors including the Oviedo Chamber of Commerce. He is an active member of the Winter Park Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite Valley of Orlando.  He was honored to be named a Paul Harris Fellow in 2013 and Kentucky Colonel in 2015.

Tom Bush – Instructor, Equipment Tech Guru & All Around Good Guy

Tom, a US Air Force Veteran, hails from West Virginia. He served as a diesel mechanic, electrical-mechanical and flight simulator technician. Tom was instrumental in building out the Orlando Scuba Partners facility as well as setting up the air and nitrox systems.

Tom holds direct manufacturer certifications to repair many brands of dive equipment, including Mares, Aqualung, Atomic, Oceanic, PSI and many more.

Tom helps to manage the daily operations of Orlando Scuba Partners and enjoys teaching students to further their scuba training.

Robert – Instructor

Robert, a US Navy Veteran, served during Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm as a Small Boat Engineer and Search and Rescue Swimmer.

Originally from California, the Navy transplanted Robert to Orlando, Florida in 1990. While serving in the Navy, Robert started diving while stationed in the Mediterranean Sea. After retiring from the Navy, he returned to Florida and continued to peruse his live of diving and dive instruction while working as a Field Service Manager for a local turbomachinery company.

Robert enjoys spending his weekends working with divers of all levels and leading vacationing divers on scuba excursions in Florida’s beautiful waters.

Robert is a TDI/SDI instructor and PADI Divemaster that also spend his free time volunteering for the Coral Restoration Foundation in Ley Largo.
